We did activity three for the South East Region today. The activity has us "go back in time" to the 1950s, where we pretend to be a part of the Equal Rights Movement. Here are some of the signs they created and also a short video of our protest.
I also have uploaded pictures of how we are using our iPads. Squating, while using the iPads, is great for core strength, balance and also prevents some back damage from leaning over the electronics. When we squat down, we rest our arms on our knees so that our shoulders are pushed back rather than hunched over.
