Social Studies Activity and IPad Usage

We did activity three for the South East Region today. The activity has us "go back in time" to the 1950s, where we pretend to be a part of the Equal Rights Movement. Here are some of the signs they created and also a short video of our protest.

I also have uploaded pictures of how we are using our iPads. Squating, while using the iPads, is great for core strength, balance and also prevents some back damage from leaning over the electronics. When we squat down, we rest our arms on our knees so that our shoulders are pushed back rather than hunched over.

"We are experiencing extreme embarrassment"

"We are experiencing extreme embarrassment," as stated by one of 213's own kiddos.

Please watch this video, "The Water Cycle",  that we created with the help of Miss. Fallon and Mrs. Ardizzonni. The students created their own back drops and practiced lines in order to film this quick video in front of the green screen.

ENJOY!

Music Cover Art

After writing some of their own music in Music class, with Mrs. Agati, the class was given an opportunity to create some "cover art" for their music. Here are some of the very creative pictures! They returned to class very excited to show what they had made.
